Studio Visit: Jacob Rochester for RCOS SS26
Jacob Rochester is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Bloomfield, Connecticut now based in Los Angeles. He learned how to draw by taking inspiration from video games and comic books before being introduced to the world of graffiti. This sparked his interest in graphic design & typography. The combination of these interests and influences now serve as base for his practice as a painter.
Jacob has been a longtime friend of the brand and recently was featured in our "A Gigantic Small Bag," editorial where we showcased different use cases of our Trail Sacoche Bag. For our SS26 collection, Jacob painted original artwork for us. We visited & photographed him at his studio in downtown LA to deliver him our collaboration t-shirt & see what he’s been working on.
